Walter L. and Rose Hunter Broadwell Celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary!

On March 6, 2006 my parents, Walt and Rose Broadwell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. 

We marked this most memorable event with a reception at the home of Mona and Tommy Baker, on March 4, 2006 and many beloved family members and friends attended. 

Walt and Rose have 3 children;

Mona Broadwell Baker and husband, Tommy of Rougemont, NC.

David Edward Broadwell, I and wife, Linda  of West Milton, PA.

Rebecca Broadwell Holt and husband, Brian of Snow Camp, NC.

and 4 grandsons;

David E Broadwell, II 

Laurens R. Holt

Colin E. Broadwell

&

R. Alexander Holt

The couple was married on March 6, 1956 in Durham, NC

 On a personal note, I can't tell you how proud I am of my parents. Their marriage has survived many twists and turns on the path of life. I grew up knowing my parents loved one another and would truly be together until death made it impossible for them to be together in this life. Their strong marriage and impeccable values have made me the person I am today. Without their support and guidance, my life would not be as it is today.  

So, Mom and Daddy... I love you!
